Greek red wine Laura Nobile Mavrodafni 2018 75cl

A dry and very refined expression of the Mavrodaphne grape variety, in limited production, from the Aigialia terroir, which elevates the variety by several levels. The depth of fruit, vibrant acidity and velvety tannins make this an excellent red wine on many levels.

With a very dense black fruit taste, reminiscent of plums and cherries, herbaceous aromas such as bay leaf, spices and leather notes create a complex aromatic profile. The palate is elegant with very well worked tannins, an acidity that forms a harmonious whole and a spicy finish. The 15-month maturation in second-use barrels gave it roundness.
