White wine Asyrtiko Tsimpidi 2022 75cl

Assyrtiko is a Greek grape variety from Santorini but also expresses itself very well in the land of Laconia (Peloponnese), bringing out a more extroverted lemony character, but also slightly floral, while combining the strong acidity and earthy notes of the variety. Usually the price of Asyrtiko is quite high, but here seems very reasonable, for the variety.

Light lemon color with notes of white flowers, apple and minerality create a very attractive aromatic profile. The palate is quite rich with lively acidity, fatness and a long lemony aftertaste with a salty feel. This wine can be drunk now, but it can evolve for another 3 or 4 years.
