Red wine Oenops Limniona 2020 75cl

The dry red wine of Nikos Karatzas comes from a very ancient Greek grape variety "Limiona".

The talented winemaker, founder of Oenops, travels all over Greece and creates wines from different terroirs and grape varieties. This time he stops at Limniona, one of Thessaly's most promising Greek varieties. 80% of the wine was fermented and aged in clay amphoras, while the rest was kept in large barrels. The result is an excellent wine with fruit purity and a spicy character, but in limited quantities!

Its color is ruby ​​red and its nose is dominated by black fruits such as blackberry and sweet spices with notes of earth and leather. On the palate it is elegant, the fruity elements are highlighted, the tannins are velvety and the acidity brings pleasure. It is a wine for laying down which deserves conservation and tasting after 5-6 years.
