The properties of chamomile have been known since antiquity with references from the father of medicine Hippocrates and the Egyptians who dedicated it to the Sun god who was the doctor of infectious diseases. Its name means apple of the ground (hamo milo).

Traditionally, chamomile tea is used against stress, lack of sleep or stomach aches. It can boost the immune system or treat headaches. If we use it in compresses, after letting the infusion cool, we can relieve skin problems such as acne or irritation. Finally, for puffy eyes, we can put chamomile in ice packs in the freezer and then place them on closed eyelids.
