It is a traditional climbing variety. They are delicious with a thin yet firm skin, they have a buttery texture and a chestnut aftertaste. They have such a rich, full flavor that they can even be eaten plain, without any other ingredients.

Arosis is a small cooperative located in Kastoria in central Greece, it is made up of very small producers who are well committed to the organic approach.

Cultivation remains traditional with mainly intensive manual work without too much impact on the soil by machines. The beans are thin-skinned, extremely flavorful with a buttery texture.

Soaking time in water: 14 to 18 hours.

Boiling time: 75 - 90 minutes (soup pot) or

60 - 75 minutes in the pot and 20 minutes in the preheated oven
