When Peli acquired her first hectares of olive grove in Barbati, she didn’t just buy land; she chose a strategic location at the foot of Mount Pantokrator, where the soil and natural conditions favor a rich and healthy olive cultivation. Her expertise allowed her to see beyond mere planting: she saw in the land, in the underground water feeding the roots, a way to optimize the quality of the olives and the oil produced.

Peli makes an essential connection between science and agriculture, which allows her to understand the natural cycles of plants while anticipating the specific needs of her crops. Her attention to detail and thoughtful approach to the soils and climate of Corfu have been assets that have helped her successfully develop her agricultural properties. By expanding her lands to Halikouna, she chose a location where the topography and local conditions are particularly favorable for producing high-quality olives.

This deep connection to the land, combined with a rigorous scientific approach, has enabled Peli to produce an exceptional olive oil, true to the Lianolia variety of Corfu, while respecting the environment.
