Nougat (Mandolato) from Kefalonia 120g
Light in taste and sweet, the nougat of Kefalonia (Cefalonia) is an integral part of their traditions and of the influences that the Venetians left on this island.
The roots of this small family business date back to 1907, when the first generation of the family, of which Panagis Kappatos was the head of the house, began to sell their surplus milk by transporting it daily from Dilinata, their village, to Argostoli.
The quality of the milk and this family's commitment to preserving it led to an increase in milk consumption, which led the family to move to Argostoli.
Three years later, in 1910, and while the Kappatos family settled in Argostoli, the first confectionery in Kefallonia (Cefalonia) was launched, under the name "Voskopoula" (the shepherdess in Greek).
The first generation passes the business on to the next and now the fourth is at the wheel.
Throughout history, the character and values of "Voskopoula" have remained the same.
they always make their products with the finest and purest ingredients, guaranteeing to offer them fresh.
