This classic Corfu ouzo is made with respect for tradition which requires 100% distillation of ouzo and with a very secret recipe from the Lazaris family.
It is produced and bottled exclusively in Corfu. The production process is traditionally done by double distillation in a copper still. Dominated by anise and a variety of fruits and aromatic herbs (coriander, fennel), it has a rich aroma, a robust taste and is both sweet and bitter. Its bottle is reminiscent of the turquoise waters of the Ionian Sea, while its aniseed flavor goes perfectly with the dishes - mainly seafood - of Greek cuisine.
It is a real distillate of anise and aromatic plants produced at 40% Vol, with a pleasant aroma, transparent color and mild taste.
Very pleasant to drink and a perfect accompaniment for your Greek aperitifs with bottarga or octopus.
